Inspired to "Right" and wielding the Sword of the Spirit for Kingdom breakthrough in families, in the media, in Hollywood, and in the marketplace, mom, former foster child and humorously serious Canadian author Shae Cooke shares her heartstrings with a global audience. She has authored eight books, and is the author of the new Single Parent's Guide series through Destiny Publishers, with The Single Parent's Guide to Raising Godly Children just out (September 2010), and The Single Parent's Guide to Love, Dating, and Relationships, due out January 2011. She has also ghosted over twenty books and many articles for both secular and non secular markets working closely with international ministry and marketplace leaders, entertainers, writers, and publishers to inspire people into the excellence of their callings God's way. For the past eight years, she has offered Holy Spirit-inspired creative writing for those ministries, businesses, and people whose destinies point to powerful local and global impact. Over the years, Shae has contributed to dozens of books such as the Chicken Soup For the Soul and Cup of Comfort series with some of her stories published in international newspapers. Shae has shared book space with many notable speakers, pastors, musicians, and teachers including Michael W. Smith, Beth Moore, Jim Cymbala, Chonda Pierce, Lee Strobel, Tammy Trent, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jennifer Rothschild, Yolanda King, Coretta Scott King, Aretha Fraklin, Les Brown, Stevie Wonder, and others. She has contributed articles and copy to Christian Women Today, Women Today Magazine, This Christian Life, as well as for children's magazines. Her writing ministry also provides free mentoring of new writers as time and resources allow. She travels as a speaker to inspire families, children, teens, governments, schools, Hollywood, and the media to return to God's values, which brings us into His heart for us. Her humor, conversational and easy breezy writing voice, creative skills, marketing background, and PR capabilities combine to ensure her materials find favorable futures in the marketplace. Born in Montreal, her home base now is British Columbia, Canada, where she lives in a tiny community nestled atop a mountain overlooking the suburbs of Vancouver.
