John 1:14
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth."

Reach out . . . reach out Beloved, and touch Me. You have not had breakthrough because you haven't touched more than the surface, you do not know me well enough. Your love for Me is only skin-deep because you only know Me skin-deep and you can only love what you know. You don't truly believe what I am capable of because you only know Me on the surface. You have not sought to touch My flesh. You have only skimmed the surface. You lean against Me, and I hold you up, but you fall again, because you have not touched My flesh. You haven't gone under My skin. You pray, but don't trust because you do not know My Word. You do not know Me.  For I am the Word, and the Word was made flesh. How can you know Me without seeking Me in the Word? For I am the Word and the Word is in Me. Touch My flesh, the flesh of My Word, and you will feel My tears, understand My character, and know My compassion. Touch My flesh and you will see a father who is crazy about you. Get under My skin, past the scars. Explore Me. See My heart and My love for you--see how my heart works. See My heart pound with love and compassion over My Beloved. Feel My heart race and pulse when I think of you. See My blood boil in righteous anger over those who harm you. Look past the wounds on My palms, and get deep inside and see the deep calluses where they held you forever, long before you were born. Get under My eyes and see what causes My tears, or what causes them to dance with delight, and sparkle with joy over you. See the inner workings of my lips as they spoke your name when I created the heavens and the stars for you.

Oh Dear One, I want you to long to know Me better. Seek Me with all of your heart. Find Me in the Word. Be diligent. Make time for Me. Don't slot Me in. Slot your world around Me instead, and make My Word the core of your universe.  Make Me a priority. And I promise you, You will know Me better, and trust Me better, understand Me better, and love Me better. You cannot live or walk in the Word without knowing the Word. Without knowing the Word, you don't know Me. Without knowing the Word, you get lost in the world, in its busyness and darkness, and the world centers itself in you instead of the Word. Cherish the Word, honor Me. Read the Word, know Me. Store the Word in your heart, feel Me there. For I abide in you and long for you to abide in my Word.  Be diligent. Be persistent. Breakthrough comes when you flesh out My Word, abide in it, and walk in it.
