Jumpin' in the River of His Presence

The ground's been frozen for many generations,
with shame, and guilt, mounds of condemnation
the enemy comes to plunder and destroy
to blame, quench the flame, and to steal my joy.
Beneath the icy surface, unknown things start to thaw
as Holy angels battle, to slay the devil's claw.
Then the ice melts and the water starts to flow,
and God's anointing manifests, and that's when I know . . .

I have to jump right in,
with all I've got, I'm gonna swim
into the river of His presence
to let His awesome work begin

I have to jump right into the river of God's presence,
let the sweet water wash away the evil one's pretense;
fall into the flow of His wonders and His signs,
swim with the current, and follow His design

I'm gonna jump, yea! Splash, yea!
right into the downhill rush of freedom,
I'm gonna get both feet wet,
make the enemy sweat,
on my way into God's Kingdom
