Pina Coladas and the Pearly Gates My groovy girlfriends and I attempt to uncork the truth concerning Christians and alcohol consumption in the fourth book of our Powder Room Series, "Pina Coladas and the Pearly Gates," in our usual bubbly way. With our hearts on our sleeves, we mine the depths of the Bible, examine historical data and stats, and search our hearts, consciences, experiences, victories and regrets for the answer to: "Is it OK for Christians to drink?" This is an excellent book for group study! Pina Coladas and the Pearly Gates is available in bookstores and in online bookstores now. If you order any book in the Powder Room Series, please send me a copy of the receipt, and I'll send you an autographed plate for each book you order.

Overview
What do jars and God's word have in common? Plenty--especially when devotions and crafts combine to help readers discover God's blessings, and experience His abundant supply. Like jars, God created us for the purpose of filling us. He created us from common material, though different in style, size, and shape. We have common beginnings, for we started out empty, just like the jars we use in this unique craft/devotional series. Each project in Devotions by the Jarful, (Mini Crafts and Devotions for Women), includes a short devotion, that expounds on the theme of discovering God's blessings. As readers fill empty jars and transform them into objects of beauty and household items, keepsakes and treasures for gift-giving, they will experience a deeper understanding of God's desire to fill their hearts and lives with His amazing grace, His steadfast love, His bounty of wisdom, His encompassing joy, His ultimate purpose, and His abundant blessings. This volume is the first of a planned series of craft/devotionals with the ?jar' theme. Future volumes underway include, Devotions by the Jarful (Crafts, and Devotions for Children), Devotions by the Jarful Holidays, Devotions by the Jarful for Teachers, and a Devotions by the Jarful without crafts.
The devotions are written in a conversational tone. The messages are light--yet poignant, short--yet heartwarming, and each devotion deftly integrates a craft in keeping with the message and theme. When readers find moments of creation in their everyday activities, they'll find encouragement, blessings, and immense fulfillment.

Tune into God! A Family Room Devotional
Discover the passions, the romance, the intrigue, and all that the God's Word offers us.
Tune into God--you'll receive a great reception! Did you know that God desires a lifetime of connecting with you? Our Creator, the creator of the world, the universe, literally died to know you in an intimate and meaningful way. He created you to know Him personally. The Bible tells us: "You created every part of me and put me together in my mother's womb." (Psalm 139: 13-14)
God sends us signals every day. We don't need cable, or satellite to receive them! For example, hundreds of sound signals beam out from television stations and into our homes. However, we can't hear them unless we turn the television set on. As soon as we tune in to a channel, those sounds transmit into something audible and visible. In the same way, we can tune in to God and receive signals we can see and hear!
Come, retreat into God's world. Saturate your mind with His promises--the hope that is in Him. He'll have you on the edge of your seat with excitement, adventure and thrills. He'll move you beyond tears, and He'll even give you a preview of what's to come.
Gather your family, and decide which program you're going to watch. Pick a channel--any channel and get in tune with the Lord!
