Overview
What do jars and God's word have in common? Plenty--especially when devotions and crafts combine to help readers discover God's blessings, and experience His abundant supply. Like jars, God created us for the purpose of filling us. He created us from common material, though different in style, size, and shape. We have common beginnings, for we started out empty, just like the jars we use in this unique craft/devotional series.
Each project in Devotions by the Jarful, (Mini Crafts and Devotions for Women), includes a short devotion, that expounds on the theme of discovering God's blessings. Our Creator, the creator of the world, the universe, literally died to know you in an intimate and meaningful way. He created you to know Him personally. The Bible tells us: "You created every part of me and put me together in my mother's womb." (Psalm 139: 13-14)
God sends us signals every day. We don't need cable, or satellite to receive them! For example, hundreds of sound signals beam out from television stations and into our homes. However, we can't hear them unless we turn the television set on. As soon as we tune in to a channel, those sounds transmit into something audible and visible. In the same way, we can tune in to God and receive signals we can see and hear!
Come, retreat into God's world. Saturate your mind with His promises--the hope that is in Him. He'll have you on the edge of your seat with excitement, adventure and thrills. He'll move you beyond tears, and He'll even give you a preview of what's to come.
